Application Fee
$20 by the Priority Deadline
Placement Testing - by appointment
Applicants may make an appointment to take the placement test. If you are transferring from another Diocese of Oakland Catholic school, you may request your scores to be released to St. David
Financial aid application (if applicable)
Application open in January 2025 from BASIC and FACE
Attend Financial Aid Night for St. David Financial Aid
Complete and submit the online financial aid application by March 31, 2025
Outside letters of recommendation
Recommenders must be people outside of your academic community who can speak to your personal character. Note: St. David will request the required recommendation form from your current school documenting your academic effort and achievement.
Letters must not exceed one typewritten page.
Recommenders must provide contact information including address, daytime phone number, and email address int heir correspondence so that the Admissions Committee can follow up with them if necessary.
Letters can be emailed to admissions@stdavidschool.org by the recommender
Due June 1, 2025
Please Note: Transcripts and teacher recommendation forms will be requested by St. David on behalf of the student. They are not a required component of your application.
Students with exceptional needs applying to SDS must include the following with their application:
Professional evaluation documentation
Provide a currently active IEP, 504 Plan or other professional evaluation done within the last three years.
Documentation deadline for students with exceptional needs is June 1, 2025
2025 -26 Registration Checklist
Complete the Registration sent via email from noreplyenrollment@powerschool.com
Pay registration fee of $450 to register the first student and $400 for every sibling
Submit the following paperwork -
copy of immunization record
copy of birth certificate
copy of Baptism and First Communion certificates (if applicable)
tuition assistance contract (if applicable)
PreK Prerequisites

St. David School’s Preschool program accepts children aged 3-5 years old. The youngest we can accept is a child is 2 years and 9 months after meeting with our Preschool Director, Ms. Dunn.

Our Preschool offers the following programs:
Full Day : 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
School Day: 8:00 am - 2:45 pm
Half Day: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Students are required to b able to use the restroom independently to be accepted into the St. David School Preschool Program. This means that thy must be able t go to the restroom unaccompanied by an adult. For children in the middle of potty training, but still interested in applying to our Preschool program, please email our Preschool Director, Calista Dunn (cdunn@csdo.org) for more information.

Yes! St. David School has waiting lists for all of our grades (Preschool through 8th Grade) that is utilized primarily for the first and last months of the school year (August and May) and throughout the summer (June-mid August).
Waitlist spots are limited and it’s best to email or contact the front office (office@stdavidschool.org) to see what each waiting list is looking like!

Students and families looking to transfer to St. David School are recommended to complete a campus tour and Shadow Bear Day before beginning the transfer process. This is to ensure that the student can envision themselves at our school and get a true sense of what the day-to-day will look like!
After the Shadow a Bear Day and family meeting with our principal, registration will begin at St. David School.

Prospective students are not required to come to their Shadow Day in a polo or slacks with the St. David School logo. A parent must be present while the student is on campus.
